Annual Lecture Series

CEFIPRA had initiated Annual Lecture Series during the year 2012 for commemorating 25^th year celebrations of CEFIPRA with an intent to increase the interactions between the best Science and Technology minds and young students and researchers from India and France. The list of Lecture Series of CEFIPRA conducted at different cities of India and France are as follows:

1. The First lecture in the Annual Lecture Series was delivered by Prof. Jules Hoffman, Noble Laureate (Physiology/Medicine 2011) of Université de Strasbourg in different scientific institutions in five major cites of India in October 2012.

2. In December 2013, the second lecture was delivered by Dr. R. Chidambaram, the then Principal Scientific Advisor to Government of India at Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique (CEA), Saclay, France.

3. The Third lecture was delivered by Prof Stéphane Noselli, Director, Institute of Biology(IBV), Nice at Ballygunge Science College, University of Calcutta, Kolkata during November, 2014.

4. The Fourth Lecture in Annual Lecture Series was delivered by Prof. D. D. Sarma, IISc Bangalore at College de France, Paris on 27^th June, 2016, at École Polytechnique, Palaiseau on 29^th June, 2016 and CRISMAT, Cean on 30^th June, 2016.

5. The Fifth Lecture in Annual Lecture Series was delivered by Prof. Barbara Romanowicz, IPGP, Professor, College de France during the period of 14-24^th February, 2018. The Lectures were delivered at MoES & IMD, Delhi, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology & Graphic Era University, Dehradun, Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, NGRI, Hyderabad, Institute of Seismological Research, Gandhinagar & IIT Bombay.

6. The Sixth Lecture in Annual Lecture Series was delivered by Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director, Indian Statistical Institute, Professor, Machine Intelligence Unit, Kolkata during 14-16 Oct 2019. The Lectures were delivered at Sorbonne Université, Université Paris-Est Crétail, Paris and Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble, France.
