APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH PROJECTS

The proposal should essentially involve at least one industry from either two countries and atleast one research laboratory from the other. The proposal itself could be to modify an existing process or product or to develop a new product or process for immediate benefit to the industry.

  1. Who can apply? 
    • There should be involvement of at least one industry from one of the two countries and a research group from the other country.
    • More research groups and/or industries in either country are welcome.

  2. Initiation  
    • The proposal can be initiated be sending a small write up of a couple of pages to IFCPAR in the form of a pre-proposal
    • The pre-proposal is examined by the industrial research committee
    • Often a visit is made to the industry and/or the laboratories by the committee members
    • After adequate discussions, if found suitable, a detailed proposal is requested
  3. How to apply…
    • Formulate the problem you wish to address;
    • identify your partners in India and France;
    • Send a 2-3 page write-up to CEFIPRA.
    • the Industrial Research Committee, comprising experts from India and France, will rapidly examine the write-up and advise the partners on preparing a detailed proposal.
